What the mouth don’t say, the eyes spread magnetically.
I began this career as a photographer on year 2003. I dedicated myself to the movies as well as the advertising and fashion industry during the years 2008 to 2015. Working in large-scale film productions as well as in fashion projects such as the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week carried out in Mexico City for several editions collaborating at the levels of visual proposal and visual development of catwalks, interviews, television spots and social networks, among others.
Some of my work has been published in different magazines such as Vouge.
SOCIAL PROJECTS
In 2015 I decided to quit the advertisement and fashion industry and founded – Punto DF –, a Hostel and an artistic residence with a social vision. Where i was being able to produce many concerts, murals, street theater interventions, varietés, clown, music, paints or carving workshops, and many many other acticvities on the neighboardhood where i grew up, activities that filled up my heard and gave me the change to meet great skilledfull artists of Mexico and all around the world. Most of the workshops where focused on children.
In that time i also collaborated in the creation of the Peace Camp in many states of Mexico. Project led by Fernando Lara of the Theater company and Clown La Bufón S.O.S.ial, Project based on the methodology of the – Children’s Peace Theater –institution located in Toronto, Canada. Focused on transforming conflict in a peaceful, creative, and compassionate way, through laughter.
On the Six years it took to building the house and transform it in Punto DF i was able to learn the crafts of working with wood, metal and basic electronics. Designing one part of the building with the collaboration with the architecht Philipp Burst from – Cainelliklaska –, as well as the interiors of the residence along with the resident artist.
Now I am part of collective working with wood, metal and ceramics. Our workshop is located on Neukölln in Berlin, so feel free to come by and say hi.
